SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern the text-message program operated by USA Energy, a DBA of Utility Services Advisory Group, Inc. (“USA Energy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Program description

When you opt in, USA Energy may send you recurring text messages related to your commercial energy quote and account, including: replies to your rate-analysis request, a link to securely upload a copy of your utility bill, appointment and callback confirmations, rate-quote updates, and follow-up messages from a USA Energy representative you have spoken with.

How to opt in

You may opt in to receive text messages by (1) checking the SMS consent box and providing your mobile number on a form at usaenergy.io, or (2) giving a USA Energy representative your verbal consent during a phone call, which we log. We only send text messages to people who have given prior express consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. You may receive messages in response to your requests and periodic follow-ups about your energy quote.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

How to opt out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send “STOP,” we will send you a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive text messages from that program. To rejoin, opt in again as described above.

Supported carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information shared with the text-message provider(s) that help us operate the program is used solely to deliver messages you have consented to receive. All other use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the updated terms on this page.
